We require half of the initial estimated fees and costs to open your file. The other half must be paid within 30 days of hiring us if the estimate is less than $1,500, or 60 days of hiring us if the estimate is at or above $1,500. We offer weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payment plans for the second half of the estimate.
If your needed legal services are extending past your initial estimate, you are required to supplement your account based on our estimate at the time. In hotly contested and involved cases, we require clients to maintain a balance in their trust accounts.
We are committed to offering flexible and convenient payment options to fit your needs. We accept several forms of payment including credit and debit cards, checks, and cash.
We know all of the fine print can get confusing, but don’t worry–we will always reach out if there is a mistake, and will answer any questions you may have about your bill or payments.
You are responsible for all surcharges incured by electronic payments. These are exactly what we are charged for the transactions through our payment processor.
CREDIT CARDS
For example, if you make a $500 payment with a credit card, the card will be charged $515.00.
For example, if you make a $500 payment with an American Express credit card, the card will be charged $515.00, and the invoice will reflect an additional $3.75 surcharge as an expense.
For example, if you make a $500 payment with a debit card, the card will be charged $500, and then your invoice will show $15.00 (3%) added.
The 3.75% is not automatically added on the front end, but your invoice will show it. Or, you can add 3.75% yourself to the payment amount.
For example, if you make a $500 payment with an American Express debit card, the card will be charged $500, and the invoice will reflect an additional $18.75 (3.75%) surcharge as an expense.
The Law of the Jungle is changing.
Lion Legal is making it happen.
That's why we're the Legal Pride of Arkansas.
