Hey y’all, I’m Jessie. And let me tell you, it is great to say “y’all” again! I recently moved back to Arkansas after six years in the Missouri Midwest and I never could pick up Midwestern slang.

I graduated from University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law in 2021, where I was on the Dean’s List, competed in appellate court competitions, Law Income Tax Clinic, the Sports Law Society, the Emissary Program, and the Mentor Program. After passing the bar exam, I opened my own practice in rural Northwest Missouri, where I handled all manner of everyday legal issues and was elected as Prosecutor of Mercer County, Missouri.

While it is great to travel and spread your wings, there is no place like home. So, in the Spring of 2024 that is exactly where I returned – home to Central Arkansas. I live in Little Rock and am within twenty minutes of my mom, siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. I come from a family of competitive athletes. Reality checks were (and still are!) a common occurrence growing up – that atmosphere approaching life’s problems realistically and reasonably strongly influences how I approach my clients’ legal problems now. That no-nonsense approach combined with the knowledge that I (or any lawyer) cannot be the best lawyer possible & help as many clients as possible alone, is what makes me a perfect Lion Lawyer.

To me, helping clients means jumping in and identifying the root, considering all the possible solutions and the risks and benefits of each, choosing the best one, and implementing it effectively and efficiently. I keep my eye on the prize of solving what brought you to us so you can close that chapter of life. The worst of life is what brings you to us – we want you to leave with a pep in your step that the worst is over (and we accomplished that for you!) … and the best is yet to come!

I am a true-blue Arkansas chick. I was raised in Little Rock, then attended University of Arkansas at Fayetteville on a swimming & diving scholarship, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice & Sociology, with minors in Legal Studies and Social Work.

Though I am no longer a student athlete, my competitive streak is alive and well in all aspects of my life. Lately it is mixed martial arts and running, but nowhere does that competitive edge kick in more than when advocating for my clients.

“Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready” is my motto, so clients can trust me when I say that I will always be prepared to zealously obtain the best results possible in every case, every time – whether in the negotiating room or in the courtroom.
