Nancy Pallerine
Paralegal
Hi! I’m Nancy; my friends call me Nan! I’ve lived in Central Arkansas on and off since 1995, and now call Jacksonville home. I’m a Florida transplant, but technically not a native Floridian–maybe I am? I grew up there from the time I was 5! Arkansas is a beautiful state that keeps drawing me back.
I came to Lion Legal after 15+ years working at the Pulaski County Courthouse, mostly as a Deputy Court Clerk and Supervisor, but my last two years there I had the pleasure of being Secretary to the Honorable Judge Morgan “Chip” Welch. My knowledge of the courts, processes, and relationships are an invaluable addition to the skills of the Lion Legal Pride.
My blended family of four grown children consists of JP, Tabitha, Briana, and Britney (technically a daughter-in-law, but we don’t use the ‘in-law’ part). My husband, Joe, was and still is my high school crush. We finally reconnected some 30 years after high school in 2017, and have been married since 2018.
When I’m not at work, I’m at school (online) studying to earn my Associate’s Degree in Science and Criminal Justice. When I’m not studying, I am storm chasing with my husband! We were on the Little Rock March 2023 tornado, and we’ve chased in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Colorado and Nebraska. When we went on our storm chasing honeymoon in May 2021, we met Dr. Reed Timmer while chasing in Nebraska.
I am a spontaneous road tripper; I enjoy photography; and, I’m a ghost hunter as well. If you’re a skeptic, I recommend staying at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs–it’s what turned me and my husband from skeptics to believers! My courageous thrill seeking translates well to my work – I don’t back down from ghosts, tornadoes, or a legal battle, and I look forward to working with you!
