Hi, I’m Conner!

I was raised in White Hall, Arkansas, and now live in Sheridan with my wife, Allie, our dog Archie (who pretty much runs the house), and our fish, Finny. I’m also a Dallas Cowboys fan, so I know how to handle disappointment!

The road that brought me here wasn’t exactly a straight one. I began my college journey at Southeast Arkansas Community College in Pine Bluff—close to home, which was perfect for a lifelong homebody like me—before heading to the University of Arkansas at Monticello with plans to become a veterinarian.  Eventually, that path shifted, and I found myself pursuing a law degree at the William H. Bowen School of Law.

Getting into law school took some persistence. I wasn’t accepted the first time, but I was invited to join Bowen’s LEAP Program—an opportunity for applicants on the edge of admission to attend an immersive, six-week program. It gave me the chance to connect with professors, adjust to a whole new world, and ultimately earn my spot at Bowen after passing the program.

Once I found my footing, I had the chance to give back as a Bowen Fellow, helping first-year students navigate the early (and often stressful) days of law school—something I knew plenty about firsthand. Thankfully, I had an incredible support system in my wife and family, who kept me grounded (and well fed) every step of the way.

After graduating and passing the Bar, I still had a lot to learn. As a first-generation attorney without a clear roadmap, I knew I needed the right team around me. Meeting the Lion Legal team changed everything. They made me feel more comfortable and confident than ever about starting my legal career.

I couldn’t think of a better place to grow as an attorney. Their focus on community, advocacy, and compassion matches exactly why I wanted to become a lawyer—to help people, stay connected to my community, and make a real difference.
